The 90 day return window runs well past the holidays, so a bike bought in November can still be exchanged for the next size in January.

Every pedal Biky has two Tektro hand brakes, front and rear, on short-reach levers sized for small hands, and no coaster brake. A lever needs 1.1 kgf (10.8 N) to engage the pads and 1.2 kgf (11.8 N) at full squeeze, measured by Biky with a hanging scale at the lever tip, October 2026, one bike each. That is about 60 percent less force than the other kids bike lever in the same test, so a child stops with a light squeeze instead of a stomp backwards on the pedals.

Common questions
How do I pick the right size as a gift without the child knowing?
Measure the child's height and inseam at bedtime or while shopping for clothes: the inseam is the distance from the floor to the crotch without shoes. Then match the numbers to the table above. Height and inseam decide the size, age is only a starting point. If the child lands between two sizes, the smaller bike is easier to start on and the larger one leaves room to grow, and you have 90 days to exchange it.
Will the bike arrive before Christmas?
Orders ship the same or the next business day and usually arrive in 3 to 5 business days with complimentary standard ground shipping to the 48 contiguous states. In the last two weeks before Christmas, pick 2-day or overnight shipping at checkout to be safe.
Does the bike come assembled?
The bike arrives partly assembled in the box. An adult mounts the handlebar, installs the pedals and sets the seat height, about 5 minutes with the tools in the box. On a balance bike there are no pedals to install.
Can the child stop a Biky easily?
Yes. Every pedal Biky has two Tektro hand brakes, front and rear, on short-reach levers sized for small hands. A lever needs 1.1 kgf (10.8 N) to engage, about 60 percent less force than the other kids bike lever in the same test, measured by Biky with a hanging scale at the lever tip, October 2026. There is no coaster brake. The Biky Air 12 balance bike has a rear hand brake.

You have 90 days from delivery to return or exchange the bike: email info@bikybikes.com first for the return address, and return shipping is on us with a prepaid label. The frame and the fork carry a lifetime warranty for the original owner.
