Kids Will Be Going Places!

We are gearing up for this year's cycling education events now and love to see the geometry and gear on these bikes. We got both the 14 and the 16. They will be very effective as both balance bikes and pedalers. It's easy to put the seats way down when feet need to be solidly in contact with the ground and the additional seat posts included allow for upward adjustments that will be needed in the shift to pedaling. The handlebars also allow for a range of positions to accommodate kids of different sizes. The steering damper is key in making them handle better for new riders. And the rear hand brake is very easy to manipulate, suitable for young hands.

Great bike

Got it for our 4 year old. He was able to handle the bike with ease and pick up riding quickly. He loves riding and loves his bike. Well done!!

Top notch in every way

We had been looking around for the best beginner bike for our 3 yr old and looked at several different options. I reached out to Biky via the text line to get some more information and details. I was absolutely blown away by their customer service! I got full, fast, human responses with detailed explanations, not just links to a FAQ page. The Biky Air 16 checked every detail we were looking for in a beginner bike. SUPER lightweight (several pounds lighter than competitors), fully enclosed chain, NO coaster brakes, low center bar for easy on and off, brake cable runs through frame to avoid snagging and trip and fall accidents, quality materials, super simple setup and a steering limiter (biggest on my list because we are transitioning from a balance bike with a limiter that has been fundamental in learning how to balance without oversteering!) I got a shipping confirmation within an hour of placing my order and unlike so many places these days, it didn't sit in "shipping lable created" status for several days (they actually shipped the item right away instead of creating a label and then waiting to drop it off.) We are a biking family so we were looking for true quality to get our son involved and interested in our family activity so we did have a higher budget when we set out looking for a bike. I understand that this bike may be cost prohibitive for those who are looking for a beginner bike for the occasional ride around the block. But for anyone who rides regularly as a serious activity(we ride the trails as often as possible, weather permitting in the Midwest) it is worth every penny and we don't doubt it will last him until he outgrows it!

“Buy it nice…

or buy it twice” as my dad used to say. Since we’re planning to use this bike for our two boys growing up, we know the investment is going to pay dividends over the years when they’re able to learn with pedals on such a light, well-made frame. Easily will forever rank among the top Christmases of our oldest son’s toddler life.

Better than other!

I chose the Biky Air 16 for my 5-year-old daughter, and it has been an incredible experience. She quickly learned to ride, starting without pedals as recommended. The design made it effortless for her to balance and build confidence. Once she mastered the balance bike, we added the pedals, and the transition was seamless.

Before the Biky, we tried another ultralight bike, but my daughter struggled to learn how to ride it.

Even though both bikes were lightweight and had similar designs, the Biky proved much easier for her to handle. Its frame geometry is more stable, and the bike’s lower center of gravity gave her better control and boosted her confidence.
