Great bikes!

My 5 year old was very reluctant to ditch the training wheels on his old bike (a Guardian). He is pretty small for his age, and after doing some research I realized that he would probably do better with a more lightweight bike. After getting the Biky 16, I had him use it for about a week as a balance bike. Once he was confidently gliding and balancing, I put his pedals on and it all clicked. He went on a 2 mile ride with us his first day with the pedals! And now I can't keep him off of it, he is constantly asking if he can go ride! I also bought a Biky 14 for his 3 year old brother, who has just started pedaling on his own as well! I really do think the the weight and geometry of these bikes makes learning easier. I do wish they had kickstands, but I built a little stand for them and it's been fine. I was able to return the Guardian and even though the Biky cost a bit more, for us it was worth it. Looking forward to a summer full of riding with my sons!

Kids Will Be Going Places!

We are gearing up for this year's cycling education events now and love to see the geometry and gear on these bikes. We got both the 14 and the 16. They will be very effective as both balance bikes and pedalers. It's easy to put the seats way down when feet need to be solidly in contact with the ground and the additional seat posts included allow for upward adjustments that will be needed in the shift to pedaling. The handlebars also allow for a range of positions to accommodate kids of different sizes. The steering damper is key in making them handle better for new riders. And the rear hand brake is very easy to manipulate, suitable for young hands.

Better than other!

I chose the Biky Air 16 for my 5-year-old daughter, and it has been an incredible experience. She quickly learned to ride, starting without pedals as recommended. The design made it effortless for her to balance and build confidence. Once she mastered the balance bike, we added the pedals, and the transition was seamless.

Before the Biky, we tried another ultralight bike, but my daughter struggled to learn how to ride it.

Even though both bikes were lightweight and had similar designs, the Biky proved much easier for her to handle. Its frame geometry is more stable, and the bike’s lower center of gravity gave her better control and boosted her confidence.

Biky Bike Review

My 3 years old daughter loves Biky Bike. It’s very easy to use and very light to carry. Also we love the design. I would recommend Biky Bikes to our friends.

A++ from a bicycle education professional

I run Bike Fun, a bicycle education non profit in Nashville, TN. We teach people of all ages how to ride. We recently received some Biky bikes for our bicycle library and have already used them to get 3 kids started on their riding life. I have been recommending them to parents of our younger students.

Out of the box assembly was straightforward; I might appreciate a kickstand as well as reflectors on the seat stays instead of the seatpost (just easier if the bike is to be used as a balance bike first).

The student featured in this picture learned how to ride on the Biky 16" within 10 minutes of directed instruction. His dad is excited about future bike riding adventures!
